New Yorkers
One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. Every day, when she went to the shops, she spent very little money.(p.1)
I read "New yorkers" today. It's story about there are a lot of kind persons in the world. For example, a housewife, a tramp, a lawyer, a waitress, an actress. However ordinary people living ordinaly lives in New York. The city has changed greatly since beginning of this century, but its people are much the same. I was interested in the view point like that.
