Bread and jam

for Frances

 

 

It was breakfast time. Father was eating his egg. Mother was eating her egg. Gloria was sitting in a high chair.(p.9)

 

 

 

I read "Bread and jam for Frances" today. The main character is Frances who was a fussy eater loves bread and jam and all she ate was them. She kept eating bread and jam when her family enjoyed eating lovely eggs. One day, after her school, her mother prepared her bread and jam for snacks but she did not eat all of it. Then, that evening for dinner, mother cooked spaghetti and meatballs. However there was no spaghetti and meatballs on the Frances's plate because her moher knew that Frances eat just bread and jam. Then she began to cry and her mother gave Frances the spaghetti and meatballs and she ate it all up. Finally, she thought that it is nice that there are all diffrent kinds of lunches and breakfasts and dinner and snacks.

Amelia Bedelia's

masterpiece

The minute Amelia Bedelia walked into the art museum, she knew it would be an exciting day.(p.5)

I read " Amelia Bedlia's masterpiece " today. It's about Amelia who was an housekeeper. She visited an art museum and met Arthur Stiles who was the director of the museum. At first, Amelia made a lot of mistakes and Arthur was angry to her.  However she didn't change her way and did her own way. Finally, she helped Drew who had an talent of an art to recognize his talent by Arthur, and she caught a thief. Thus her confusion led to surprising results. There were not things that Amelia couldn't do.

Betty's  secret

 

Betty and Fiona were twin sisters. They looked exactly the same. Tere was only one diference between them.

 

 

I read "Betty's secret" today. It's about the twin sister's fighting. The one is named Betty and she has red hair, and the anoher is named Fiona has blonde hair.  They work to fight in the sports center. In one big game, Fiona dressed in pink and Betty dressed black , came into the hall. The crowd cheered Fiona so Betty was upset  and Fiona won.  One day, when Fiona was cooking, Betty put on her sister's blonde hair color and she poured the rest of the blonde hair colour down the sink. Then, Fiona put on her hair colored red and didn't notice becaue she was in a hurry. After that they fought putting on another hair color. Finally Betty won the game because the crowd cheerd her by her hair color. Then she sugested that they toss a coin to decide their hair color. The winner colours her hair blonde and the loser colours er hair red. However Fiona disgreed the opinion so sometimes it was Betty with blonde hair and Fiona with red hair. Sometimes it was Fiona with blonde hair and Betty with red hair. Nobody in the crowd at the sports centre ever noticed.
